Privacy Policy

When you place an order, we collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Delivery address and city
• Order details (products, quantities, amounts)

We do not collect or store your payment card or Mobile Money account details — these are handled entirely by Paystack.

We use the information you provide only to:

• Process and fulfil your orders
• Contact you about your order status
• Resolve disputes or address concerns
• Comply with our legal obligations in Ghana

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We share your data with the following service providers for the purpose of fulfilling your order or measuring our advertising:

• Paystack— payment processing. When you click “Complete order” you are redirected to Paystack's secure, PCI-DSS certified payment page where you enter your card number or Mobile Money PIN. Roba Essentials never receives, sees, or stores your card or MoMo credentials— they go directly to Paystack. We only receive a confirmation that payment succeeded, along with a transaction reference. Paystack's own privacy policy applies to data they collect during checkout.
• Neon (database hosting)— your order data is stored securely on Neon's cloud servers, protected by industry-standard encryption.
• Vercel— our website is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure.
• Meta (Facebook & Instagram) — we use the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may collect browser information and browsing behaviour on our site. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
• TikTok — we use the TikTok Pixel to measure conversions from TikTok ads. TikTok may collect device and browsing data on our site. See TikTok's Privacy Policy.
• Google (Analytics & Ads) — we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking to understand site usage and measure ad performance on Google Search and YouTube. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Snapchat — we use the Snap Pixel to measure conversions from Snapchat ads. See Snapchat's Privacy Policy.

We retain your order data for a minimum of five (5) years for accounting and legal compliance purposes, consistent with Ghana's regulatory requirements. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time (see Section 6 below), subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.

Your data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted). Admin access to order data is protected by password authentication. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012, you have the right to:

• Know what personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Object to how we process your data

Our website uses the following cookies and tracking technologies:

• Admin authentication cookie — used only on the admin panel to maintain your login session. Not present on customer-facing pages.
• Meta Pixel — records page views and purchase events so we can measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram ads and build audiences for future campaigns.
• TikTok Pixel — records page views and conversions to measure TikTok ad performance.
• Google Analytics 4 / Google Ads — tracks site usage and ad-conversion events for Google Search and YouTube campaigns.
• Snap Pixel — records page views and conversions to measure Snapchat ad performance.

You can opt out of advertising tracking at any time through your browser's privacy settings, or via each platform's own ad preference controls (e.g. Facebook Ad Preferences, Google Ad Settings).

Our website is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the date of the last update shown above.
